Welcome to Intro to Woodworking! In this class, students will learn the basics of shop safety, lumber terminology, stock milling, gluing up a panel, finishing sanding and applying an oil finish while making their very own cutting board.

Time: 9 am - 5 pm

Materials and supplies are provided by the school. Please come dressed appropriately for working in a shop: Close toed shoes are required. Pants and short sleeved shirts are preferred.

Please be on time to class! Students who miss the initial safety lecture at the beginning of class will not have the opportunity to work in the shop that day and will need to reschedule.
